With the rise in self-employment and working from home, co-working spaces are becoming all the rage and more prevalent than ever in Oklahoma City. So prevalent in fact, it's hard to keep track of them all and which one might better suit your needs.

Velocity.com recently did a round up of all co-working spaces and we had to share.

1. STARSPACE46

Location: 1141 W. Sheridan Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

Hours: 24/7

Cost: Day Pass - $20, Reserved Desk - $200/month, Standard Office - $1,000/month

Amenities: Free coffee and beer, parking, full kitchen, access to events hosted at StarSpace46, access to conference rooms (based on membership level)

About StarSpace46: StarSpace46 is more than just a coworking space with everything from small desks to office suites. Aside from places for technologists and entrepreneurs to work, StarSpace46 provides a home for groups like 1 Million Cups, coding events, roundtables, and pretty much anything the entrepreneurial community can come up with. A good mix of their tenants are technologists, and several startup companies run their headquarter operations from office suites at StarSpace. They are currently the largest coworking space in Oklahoma.

2. VAULT405

Location: 10 N. Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p for Day Pass, Members get 24/7 access pending a background check

Cost: Day Pass - $20, Desk Space - $275, Private Office - $400

Amenities: Blazing fast wifi, unlimited coffee, and tea, conference and meeting rooms, podcast studio complete with microphones and mixer, ability to host and attend workshops in large space

About Vault405: Vault 405 is a diverse community of thinkers, doers, and entrepreneurs located in the heart of Edmond’s historic Downtown. Surrounded by more than a century of commerce and progress, their space is a catalyst for collaboration and creativity. Simply put, the goal of Vault 405 is that its members and coworkers eventually outgrow Vault 405 and become the next successful Oklahoma venture.

3. THE BARN

Location: 1601 N. Blackwelder Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73106

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9a-5p for Day Pass, Members get 24/7 access

Cost: Day Pass - $20, Desk Space - $300/month, Office - $600-700/month

Amenities: Unlimited coffee, printing, featured on The Barn’s website, meeting room usage (based on membership level), communitywide events held at The Barn, an office in the heart of the Plaza District

About The Barn: The Barn aims to create a space for entrepreneurs and creatives in the heart of the Plaza District centered around the concept that working for yourself doesn’t always mean working by yourself. The space is in a restored, historic home and features homey amenities like a wraparound porch, creaky stairs, and exposed brick. In addition to coworking, the space is made available for things like baby and wedding showers, and parties of other types.

4. HALCYON WORKS

Location: 405 NW 30th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73118

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9a-5p for Day Pass, Members get 24/7 access

Cost: Day Pass - $25, Desk Space - $350/month

Amenities: Unlimited locally-sourced coffee and tea, complimentary snacks, private phone booth, conference rooms available for rent, mail service, sitting/standing workplaces, centrally located near parks, yoga and meditation classes available onsite

About Halcyon Works: Halcyon Works was founded by a group of attorneys who have a passion for the Oklahoma City business community. The founders believe that coworking is the way of the future, and that it’s most successful with a beautiful place to work both independently or collaboratively, and when it is supported by the community at large. Aside from being an interior designer’s dream, the location can’t be beat - Halcyon Works is nestled 2 blocks south of Edgemere Park and is a 5-minute walk from the Paseo Arts District.

5. RISE COWORKING

Cost: Day Pass - $20, Desk Space - $289/month, Private Office - $750/month

Amenities: Coffee constantly flowing from local roasters, free snacks, beer on tap from Anthem Brewery, access to Rise events and classes (coding camps, etc.), printing and faxing, mailing address (depending on membership level)

Amenities: Relaxing place in the center of Midtown to set up shop, monthly lunches and happy hours with other co-workers & members, mail service, unlimited caffeinated beverages, chic furniture.

About The Uncommon Seed: The Uncommon Seed Coworking was founded after the owners spent years working in shared spaces in NYC.
